Like a Burial.

@MaxoBrooklyn - You know, because then I can memorize a smaller number of larger patterns. Chunking, is the term... I mean, legit, that's a psychological term... lmao - But then I can just remember the flow, too; like, it ends one beat short of two full measures or something.

@MaxoBrooklyn - Yeah, some of those are a pain, if only because it shifts by only a 16th or so, and they don't sync up again for some 30-something beats. That makes it especially difficult for people like me, who started by learning things by the Beatles and Green Day; because you have to memorize a set of patterns, rather than a simple riff. It's fun to count them out though; they don't write them that way, but sometimes it helps me to count in 15/8 or something.

@851852093114208513 I'm glad you're aware of that, from your comment, I was assuming you were not as knowledgeable as you actually are, sorry about that!

@851852093114208513 i know what you're saying, I was playing devil's advocate. but while the beat in theory is very simple, executing it with pens can be considered advanced in the field of pen tapping. trust, me, I've fallen for the meshuggah trick plenty of times (counting out a riff just to realize it was divisible by 4, etc)
how come u stopped doing tutorials

@zeraygun
We haven't fully stopped, just taken a break from recording them, the main reason is because of all the hate people are leaving on our Pen Tap videos, some people don't realise that we are making tutorials to help people learn different beats or beats to their favorite song, they just complain to how bad I am or what a waste of time making the video was, even though I'm not proving how good I am or have ever said I'm good at it, it takes the fun out of making videos :(
