Albert K. Friesen, loving husband to Elisabeth, and our dad, grandpa, and great-grandpa, passed away Monday June 6, 2011 at Bethesda Hospital after a brief illness. He was 89 years old.
Here's a brief snapshot of my grandpa's life as he plays a game of crokinole against his grandson (my brother), Donovan. Soon after I heard that I wouldn't see my grandpa again in person, I thought of a video we (Donovan, Matt, and Kevin) had made a few years ago for a church gathering, featuring footage from this crokinole game. I decided to go back and make a new video, focusing only on the crokinole game, as a tribute to my grandpa's joyful and inviting life.
