I was at a small airport called Westosha, in wisconsin after Airventure 2005, and Alan showed up for a couple days in his T-6 before going to rockford. On the day he left I ran to the end of the runway to watch him take off and he almost took my hat off with the wing, then he circled around, turned on the smoke and did it again, rolling the airplane on climb out. I am forever greatfull.
