I'm watching Gone With The Wind, the truth is very evident in the Clark Gable/ Vivien Leigh interactions. There's also lots of extreme 'bad paradigm' male examples! Note Clark playing Rhett Butler is the only story character who comes out a winner, whatever crap others throw at him.
I am now ACUTELY aware of movie portrayals of masculine character, thanks to DD, and it's amazing, like I have this Decoder Ring most people do not have and they do not see the obvious. Same works in life.
