Songwriter [EP1]

Selena's POV~

I remember the first day I heard a song on the radio I was only four I was quickly in love with the beat, the rhythm, the lyrics... I began writing little skits after that, whether it was my own little poet, or a funny beat. Sometimes the teachers would want me to play it for them in plays too! Once I hit 13 years old, I was officially made the "Drama Club's Songwriter". I had "talent", they said. I wrote songs for most of the plays performed through my middle-high school years. I was apparently so gifted that I went to college at a young age, finishing at 17. Now, of course, I was a great talent in my school, and now in the big world, I've been to almost every continent, performing my songs I wrote. I tried every single way to get a gig, be a bands songwriter. None were hiring though, but one.... one... that I dreaded, that I promised myself would be the last option.. But today was a new day, and I was now sitting in the waiting room, to be auditioned.

Man:*Comes out with list* Selena...Gomez?

Selena: That's me *Stands up*

Man: Alright, follow me please.

Selena:*Nodds and follows him down the hall*

Man: *Opens the door* In here.

Selena:*Nodds and walks in and sees the band* Morning. *Smiles*

Martin Johnson: Alright, show us what you've got.

Selena:*Hands the Boys Like Girls band the song script*

Martin: Oh.. *Reads it* I like it but... it's not our style. Sorry, kid.

Selena:*Sad* No problem. *Takes the sheets and leaves*

Selena's POV~

You can imagine what they all said. Yes, that's right, the same thing, "it's not our style". I walked out of the building into the busy streets on L.A., I walked past buildings with band names on them, agents on the bulletiens, I looked up, wishing one day that would be me. I sighed, gripped my coat tighter, this was a cold morning in L.A., Christmas was on it's way, I wouldn't be celebrating again this year. When I got home there was one new voice message on my home phone. I clicked "Play".

Voice Message (Demi): Hey girl! How are ya? Look, I know how busy you are, with finding your career and all.. but you have to come back to TX this Christmas! Your whole family misses you! They haven't seen you in so long, what two years? Come on you've got to come! Call me back when you get the message!

Selena:*Sighs and takes her coat off, putting it on the hanger in her apartment*

Selena's POV

I decided I would call her back once I got a gig, it was still Dec 8th, if I had no gig by Christmas Eve, I would call. I headed into my room, pulling out a notebook from my drawer, I looked at the list. on the top it read: SINGERS LOOKING FOR SONGWRITERS. Pink, crossed out. Kelly Clarkson, crossed out. Everything was crossed out, I took my red sharpie, went to the bottom of the page where it read "Boys Like Girls". I crossed it out. I looked at the band after them, I shuddered, Jonas Brothers. Now, if they didn't accept me, then I was doomed. If I could write songs for Jonas Brothers, I 've hit rock bottom. They sucked, sure they would have noticed that by now, right? I decided to pay them a visit tomorrow.

@MaeganLuvsWestlife Yeah, I agree. Really? She is? Yes, Budapest is the capital. I think I'm going to Europe next summer. I'll be in Hungary and Italy most likely.

@MaeganLuvsWestlife Yes, I do. I understand what you mean by the West being fields and "stuff." That is how Hungary is (my mothers from there, I am too. I was born here though.)

@caneytaneywaney5 im glad u feel like dat cuz one time i was comin home from England on an airplane n dere was dese 2 people from sumwhere in America dunno where i tink it was like New York or sumtin n dey thought that we still used hoprses n carts instead of cars n dat we were poor n stuff n dat like it was a tiny country i was like omfg u came 2 ireland on a frickin Airplane n u tink dat...no offense 2 Americans i just thought every1 was like dat den but i guess ur not lol
