Exactly what you say guys. This is like a modern version of Godzilla. All he's missing is fire breath, right? Oh, and a little tougher he could be too. And well, you know... I like to think like this as our Godzilla's first film in America and even though he died, he will be back just like every other monster has returned. Zilla can come back too, can't he? And like Zilla Jr. so can Zilla himself can have traits too. We just need to figure out how he will get them. Next movie hopefully, ya?

Well, Godzilla was originally made 55 years ago, when people didn't know as much about dinosaurs as we do now. And back then, people thought that dinosaurs (specifically T. Rexes) stood upright like humans. However, somewhat recently (within the past 20 or 30 years) that has been proven inaccurate. And as much as I like Godzilla, I have to say that this is more of a Jurassic Park 4 than an actual Godzilla movie. It's a good movie, but it's just not a Godzilla movie.

It's more like a Jurassic Park movie because it actually resembles a reptile? I really can't argue with this because most die hard fans think Godzilla's image is fine the way it has been for those 55 years. It's cool, it' classic but I accepted modern day Godzilla's image and the fact that he wouldn't be invincible. That and many eat any inconsistencies Toho adds to his own series. Why reject the Godzilla after it had already been named and released? It's Godzilla, i know I'm a small minority.

Well, I'm all for updating the design and making it look more realistic, but at the same time, it has to have at least some of Godzilla's traits. He's invincible and breathes fire. That's all I ask for. Plus, he has to at least resemble the original a little more than this. This looks more like an iguana with Jay Leno's chin.
