*READ*:
Annie is no longer my horse.

May of 2007, I went to test ride a sorrel Quarter Horse and We ended up buying her. This is the video of us bringing her home.

I had Annie for about a year a half before deciding I was ready to move on to something new. It was a very tough decision to sell her, but it was also for a lot of good reasons. She taught me so much during the time I did own her and I couldn't have asked for a better first horse to learn the basics of riding with, but I outgrew her. We sold her in November 2008 to a wonderful new home where she fits in perfectly. She and her new owner are a perfect match and I always get updates from them about how she's doing.

  • @icepawhawkpaw

comments like that just show that you know nothing about horse ownership. it actually makes me laugh a little. don't judge people when you have no idea what you're talking about.

  • You spelt cheyanne wrong it's Cheyenne. I know because it's my name.

  • @HopalongBarrelRacer

There are a lot of different spellings. Cheyenne is the traditional, Native American spelling, but we chose to go with Cheyanne and nickname her Annie.

  • Ugg people honestly! She wanted to move on to a harder horse! Of course she loved er horse!!! If she had her horse for a year and a half don't you think she would love her horse!! And keeping her horse and not being able to improve as much as she can with a new one is sad. Of course she loved her horse people bu its good to move on. Your not supposed to get attached to things in the world but we all do it.

  • @kickbuttequestrian

Thanks you! You are exactly right!

  • i can understand that u grew too old for her because u mightve gotten too big to ride her or ur riding skills are different levels

  • Annie is my horses name :)

  • wow. you guys really think it is easy for us to sell our horses? I sold my show mare becouse I lost interest in showing and she was way to good to sit out in a pasture and do nothing. It was in my horse's best interest to be sold to someone who would want to show.

and honestly I cried when I had to sign her papers and send them off to her new owners. It's a tough decision that horseowners have to make.

  • @icepawhawkpaw wow before you go on hatin someone exleast learn how to spell.

  • @icepawhawkpaw There could have been plenty of reasons somone would sell something they love. They could of either out-grew her, didn't have the money to be spending on a horse, got to a point where they need a more experienced horse, etc. You sound like a complete idiot and as Igsthunder said, you clearly know nothing about the ownership of a horse. & you don't know the full story! When you buy your own horse, you can own him until the day that he dies.. and that's YOUR choice. But this ISN'T.

  • why did you have to sell ur first horse

  • @icepawhawkpaw i know i would have kept her for years! Until she was old and needed to be retired!

  • Oh my gosh! Im thirteen and I got my first horse on my birthday to. She's also a quarter horse she look's almost exact to that! :))

  • NAUGHTY... that is a bad pasture there is no easy access to grass!!! but we did not see all of it
