This interview is one of many collected during the Lean Startup Conference in Grand Rapids, MI. ; Patrick Vlaskovits thinks that Customer Development is gratifying and even fun. After reading The Four Steps to the Epiphany, he used screenshots as MVPs and LOIs to validate a product idea (before writing any code) at a startup he founded, which subsequently flamed out. As of late, he is back in the saddle and recently secured a bit of seed funding to test a few MVPs. He holds a master's in economics (that he probably over-paid for) from UC Santa Barbara and blogs at Vlaskovits.com
