Whenever i hear this song it makes me think of my life, but sadly i have had a bit of a rough life lately. I have been having medical problems which now i cant ever run, walk, or do any outdoor activities without my leg limping and the it and rest of my mucles being in pain. I never really had too many friends mostly because i was always negative and depressed. Thankfully for some medication is helping me becaue less in pain. My mother always told me that this was my fathers favorite movie (he died when I was 6 years old).. So I watched it. And now, when I hear this song I like to think about how we would watch the movie together.. I love it, just like he did. And this song really means alot to me! Thanks for sharing it <3

My mother passed away this past June and Forrest Gump was her favorite movie. I even used a quote from the movie in her eulogy which best described how she felt about life. "I don't know if we each have a destiny, or if we're all just floating around accidental-like on a breeze, but, I think maybe it's both. Maybe both is happening at the same time."
Many times, when I think about her (like now) I click on this post, close my eyes and remember her. Thank you for posting this.
