  • Due to your position as regional commander of the southern defense forces, Lord Terenas commands that you raise an outpost in the Hillsbrad foothills.

  • This is easily...EASILY...one of the best pieces of music EVER composed for ANY video game.

  • @DNF2011 Holy shit. Totally forgot about Myst.

  • Glorius!

  • Beautiful!

  • @pbatsii: Myst III: Exile?

  • As people say, this is one of the best soundtracks to a computer game ever. The other would be then the Heroes of Might and Magic III, the soundtrack to the The Elder Scrolls 4 : Oblivion and the russian game The Knight's Tale (as well its sequel The Armoured Princess). Would love to hear about other OSTs that I missed..

  • I remember when I was 7 years old and played the battle.net edition. i got it for xmas, looked at the cover and was like "pirates vs. goblins.. wtf?" and then I played it and was immediately sucked into the strategy genre. :D 12 years later, here I am playing WoW and enjoying the Blizzard experience. And it all started when my parents got me a random PC game from the discount cargo. :P

I'm sure we are all like "WTF?! Alterac betrayed us? D: No Wai!" when we first found out.

  • the orks have stablished a base in the cost of alterac your mission is to... EPIC!!!!!! I MISS THAT!!!

  • @SODEMO2007 ikr

  • Your spies report that the Alliance has been betrayed. Lord Perenolde, sovereign ruler of Alterac, has been working with the Orcs since the beginning of the war.

  • @iamtheshim I love this game's music. But no man, no. There are full 100 people orchestras out there who compose for games, and they're NOT crappy ambience. Try Silent Hill 2's music for instance, 20 violins, 1 drummer, a few bells and keyboard/ synthesisers, and 1 lead electric guitar. Now if they played this, than we would all explode.
