I watched Akagi without knowing the rules of mahjong. After learning the rules and watching this again, I said, "Dora 12, WHAT THE FUCKING RIGGED SHIT?!"

akagi is a genius & a mahjong prodigy, he does extreme gambles for the thrill of it..while kaiji is a genius in his own way..hes still a lazy bum at the same time...he does extreme gambles cz he has no other way to pay off his huge debts =P

akagi and kaiji r very different...kaiji freaks out in most situations but still manages to come out on top even with all that pressure..while akagi handles situations in a calm yet aggressive way...the only thing similar about the 2 is the art style..n both deal with gambling
