Artistic Director Garry Stewart's new creation Be Your Self ? is a work that cross examines the vast complexity of who we are and what we are made of.

In Be Your Self the ADT dancers are transformed into erupting, powerful, creative entities projecting a mountain of startling physical images and impressions set to a wildly unpredictable, cartoonish, electronic score.

Stewart wields dance, spoken text, video graphics and architectural design to collapse the underpinnings of who we think we are.

Arising from conversations with a Buddhist monk, neurologist, physiologist and literary academic, Be Your Self also sees ADT collaborating with avant garde architectural firm Diller, Scofidio + Renfro. Currently working on the redevelopment of the Lincoln Center in New York, DS+R have produced an ingenious and surreal set design that forms the cornerstone of Be Your Self.

ADT has certainly made its mark on the global stage with a company of phenomenal, unmatched dancers. For Be Your Self legendary American breakdancer PoeOne has been coaching the dancers in his formidable and breathtaking technique. The result is astonishing!
