Two abandoned puppies

These two little guys were dumped on the side of a country road in Harrisburg IL. One is a shepherd mix and the other is a lab mix I think. I could be wrong but that's as close as I can tell. The lab mix has something going on with his skin. I'm taking him to the vet to get a skin scrapping to see how serious it is. The other one looks perfectly healthy. They are both really friendly and would make great pets. I really don't see how someone could dump these babies. I've been feeding them and giving them fresh water everyday. As far as I know they've been here for at least three days. I have nowhere to take them. It's times like these I wish I didn't live in a small apartment. I'm doing my best to spread the word about them and to try and find a no kill shelter that will take them. I know how difficult that is around here though, most of the shelters are over run with animals. Spay and neuter your pets people!!

Puppies have been taken to a shelter where they will be neutered, microchipped, and treated for any other parasites or diseases they may have then they will be put up for adoption. I will be checking on them every so often during the rest of their journey. They have had a long and hard one thats for sure.
