This is a brand new Suzuki V-Strom 650 ABS Adventure motorcycle which comes standard with all of the accessories you see installed, including official Suzuki V-Strom giant pannier saddlebags. The Suzuki V-Strom 650 ABS Adventure motorcycle is a great adventure touring bike. The V-Strom sells for $9,799 and includes the giant saddlebags and windshield extender, which make it great for long-distance motorcycle riding. As the name implies, the Suzuki V-Strom 650 ABS Adventure motorcycle also comes with ABS anti lock brakes.
Introduced in 2004, the Suzuki V-Strom has been a very popular all-around motorcycle and adventure touring bike. The V-Strom has a 645 cc 90 degree engine with dual overhead cams and 4 valves per cylinder. The V-Strom name comes from the V configuration of the engine and the German word "Strom" which means "Stream" or "Current." The Suzuki V-Strom has won numerous awards for its functionality and versatility, and the new V-Strom 650 ABS Adventure model takes that to a new level with all of the touring-ready accessories. Suzuki has made a great motorcycle even better.

  • OMG, they show off a V-strom adventure whit out a skidplate lol. Not god :)

I got a V-strom expedition 2010, its a realy god bike it wil take you everywhere you whant to go fore shure, i can safly recomend this bike and whit the stock 22L tank it is built fore great distance riding.

I think its sad that the other bikes like BMW get so mutsh credd, i guess they have more money to advertise :D

  • @TommyStokke It really is a great long-distance adventure touring motorcycle, and not too heavy. I'm sure Suzuki has a skidplate they'll sell as an add-on. It's true that the KTM and BMW bikes get a lot more press, but the V-Strom has a seriously strong cult of followers and will be around for many years.

  • Really considering a V-Strom 650 as my first bike. Love the look of the 2012, but will probably get a used '07. Love those panniers! Can they fit older models?

  • @BattlestarPacifica I looked for Panniers on the Suzuki website and didn't see any. I know Toruatech and Happy-Trail sell different sized V-strom panniers for older V-Stroms. I don't think they made any major changes to the V-Strom since 2007.

  • adventure?.....without motorplate.....coffee-racer .......

  • @johnnyass68 I was thinking the same thing. That exhaust pipe looks really fragile down there. I bet Suzuki sells accessory bolt-on bash plates for the V-Strom 650, but it really should be a standard part on the motorcycle if they want to sell it as a serious adventure bike.

  • @johnnyass68 It costs $500 to fix that (Look at AltRider). Suzuki want to keep the price down. 98% of the people never do any off road with a V-Strom.

  • Nice..but not worth trading in my 09 strom yet :>)
