Lots of great points in the poem, but as an ex-Christian, I can tell you that it is generally accepted Christian doctrine that "Jesus" spent those 3 days in "Hell" (Hades), based on the so-called Messianic prophecy, "Thou wilt not leave my soul in sheol".

@IWannabeJew - This may be a fringe view yet I do not think it is generally accepted doctrine. I'll ask Christians when I have the chance.

It wasn't accepted in the church I attended - The minister explicitly spoke against it, saying:
"Why would Jesus, The all powerful god HAVE to descend to Hell to get something that Satan never had power over in the first place. It belittles God and isn't true. There is no scripture to back it up"
