1948 Harley-Davidson WL Flathead

Purchased this bike from a builder in Chicago named Billy Favata. (billyvintageiron is his website) It's a very interesting bike and was featured in the February 2010 Issue #95 of The Horse magazine.
As you can see/hear in the video it still needs a bit of tuning and adjustment but otherwise a really nice ride.

1948 WL 45 Flathead
BSA Golden Flash 4-Speed Trans
M88 Linkert Carburetor w/Adjustable Jets
Servi-Car Tanks
Servi-Car Front Frame Section
Triumph Rear Frame
BSA Rear Wheel / Triumph Front Wheel & HD Hub

The transmission is mated to the engine by way of a Triumph clutch basket and an engine sprocket made out of a HD sprocket and a Triumph sprocket machined, sleeved, and welded together.

This is my first rigid/springer and it's here to stay!
