@2006STX What do you think a 96-97 spec Type -R would put down all things being equal?
-
@kevinsaelor i know that
-
@PRZJ91 do you know what whp means? that means how much your putting out at the wheels
-
@2006STX wasnt thinkin and i forgot about drive train loss
-
@PRZJ91 Yes it is a real 98 b18c-R. 170whp is a good baseline, and if you figure 20% drivetrain loss that puts me at about 215 crank hp. A jdm R is rated at 205 crank hp.... Nothing in your post was correct, and I hope you learned something from mine.
-
lol. a stock type r comes with 195hp at the crank..... whp is different. Study before you open your mouth.

The car was sold a few months ago in favor of building my 86 Grand National. The owner since has informed me that it was professionally tuned and made 190whp on my small all motor bolt ons. Not too bad for a stock internal never opened up and stock cam B18C-R... I miss the car and will be back to hondas some day... lol

Where did you get your p28 ecu with the ITR base map?

@jonathan23177 XENOCRON... I think it was only like $200 for a proven good socketed and chipped p28.
