I always thought that the Ippon seoi-nage has to be performed much faster, or doesn't it matter?
You know, using the power/speed of ur opponent to use it against him.

not in Nage no kata, it's ment to be a beautyful showcase of judo to get your black belt. not for actuall fighting

Is this whole thing required for first degree black belt, or do you do a shorter version for 1st degree?
