This is outrageous! This bird speaks English and Tagalog, and it has learned to call out the names of the people who live there ... whistles too... funny. Give it a bigger cage, please and some leaves and branches to play on.

This bird is afraid of branches and leaves, once I put some inside his cage, he wont come down. We were all laughing..he hates spaghetti pasta and worms..He is the joy of our life.

This bird is fantastico! I just got one and I need to know what do they eat and what are the feeding time. I also need to know how to train to talk. I wonder how this bird understand the question or ask the question. There must be a trick to train this maina. I own the female. Soon to get the male. Your help is greatly appreciated.

jewel dont take the freedom of other people,,if you thinking the population of those bird is decimated,not true..so before you post something and take away freedom of other people please research 1st, the population of myna still healthy around the world.but the people who taking care of them is a helpfull way.atleast they dont eat them..right????

if u insist on keeping him please find him a suitable cage , he needs to be able to fly, and make sure he gets a varied diet of fruits veggies and insects NOT PASTA, if the bird is fed one type of food only it will die of kidney failure. please read up about keeping animals suitably before taking on the responsibility of having one in your home. and that involves all pets.

morality aside, as per RA 9147 it is illegal to posess myna birds and other wild animals as their population in the wild has been decimated due to the illegal pet trade. posession is technically punishable by law. please stop buying mynas and other wild collected birds and save what little we have left of our wildlife thanks!
