Actually the Nazi Party was mainly attractive to protestants, With only 14% of Catholics supporting the party in July of 1932 and 40% of non-Catholics. The Nazis had low support from Catholics until they came to power, and then of course the Catholics had no choice. Some early Nazis were Catholic but there never seemed to be an extreme trend towards Catholicism.

There has to be a seperation of church and state--otherwise one religion rules and that is wrong on any level, even to christians who understand that God gave us all FREE WILL.
