this is apsolutly discusting they are children look how fake they look you can not honistly tell me that looks good for a 4 5 or 6 year old and its encoraging pedifiles i may only be 16 and some of you might think what does she know shes only 16 but i remember what it was like to be around that age i know all kids are diffrent but i didnt care about looking pretty or comparing myself to others its dispicible what these parents are making these children do. all kids want top do is have fun

'It's like team sport's' No it bloody is not. Team sports is judged on ability, and if you loose, you can work to improve what you do. They are judging children on they beauty. Children shouldn't HAVE beauty at that age, they should have cuteness, mud on their face and a scrape on the knee. And the girl they interview was a winner wasn't she?? She'll have gained self confidence, but what about all the girls who lost? One child suffering body image issues due to this is a tragedy

@TheChipettes10 i can't help watching them...neither can my friends who agree with me! i will tell you one thing now being a dance mother. spending 5 grand a year is tough....a year...not a few grand a pageant! but i see the similarities and i may pull out. you can't tell me these kids dont feel pressure and know they are judged. i watch it more to watch the psychologogy of SOME of the mums. they are not ALL bad i will agree. some mean well and i like to see the all natural stuff

This was on channel 9 news in Australia, i forgot to tape this didn't know it was on...... they do have good news on JonBenet :) I taped a recording of JonBenet's case back in 2006 when that creep John Mark Karr was a suspect of that little girl's murder, I have that recording on my youtube channel...

it's hard to believe how many pageants had to close and now it is a 5 billion dollar industry. i think some people wanted he pageant world to end. the problem is not with the child, no....it's with the parents. the air brushing bothers me.

2:17- ugh! overall package my ass! if kids don't have flippers, tans, beautiful dresses they are not winnning. 2:30 - did she faint? where the hell is the reaction to help her??!!!
