DirectX 11, is the Newest Windows Platform (Detail Rendering), for the best detailing and coloring. Many Behavure Engines run on DX11, eg Cryengine 2, Vue 7. This particular example shows one of the best, destructability behavure engines, Physx.
The best games will run several Graphix engines, for different tasks, eg, lighting, water animation and light shading(CryeEngine2). The more engines, the more geeks you have to employ on your dev team. More monney, more life-like.

@montigekyou what i did instead was put my sound blaster x-fi platinum soundcard back in, it may not give you much of a boost but it does help, and i dont have to worry about it lagging ANY of my games down. dedicated phsyx card may work for a few games these days but they are definetly phasing out like i said its all over google. which does suck, cause back in 2007 i spent $125 on the phsyx card, and now they are going out, thats why i said fuck nvidia im ATI all the way now and love them

@montigekyou dude the physx card is outdated for the most part now days theres websites that did reviews over this last year. most games now days and most video cards have much more physx processing power than the dedicated cards did at the time they were made. believe me, cause i just took my ageia physx card out a few days ago after i saw the vids and read the articles. matter of fact, having the physx card can bog some games performance down now days like Mafia 2 and metro 2033 check it out

@montigekyou you use the phsyx drivers still in order to play the newer games that use the technology and you still get dx11 so i dont see what your so anal about. what have you got to say about the hd 5870 2 gb card? its perfect to say the least

i only say why buy plastic when you can get steel thats hold on 4 life :D..

ill have gtx580+8800gts 325mb on physX and ill get 108 fps in battlefield bad company2 so im happy

this is why ati sucks, nvidia has the best cards and technology! and if you get the ati cards, you don't get physx, cuda, or any other great nvidia features!
