i think the confusion was made when i said 'a bit lacking in onboard memory' in my 2nd post. I figured that memory (usually) goes up in multiples of 8, so i guessed that it was 64. When it's really 86, which is weird because that isn't a multiple of 8.
Anyway.. with all the processing power of the firmware update, the screen tilt is still slow and needs a transition effect instead of just blanking the screen, and the themes still take ages to change. lol Nokia, always room for improvement.

well i just went to go sync some music with Ovi. I synced 11 tracks to the phone, refreshed the library, and i could see and listen to every song i synced.. so as far as i know, V40 has no refresh bug in my phone..
I'm not an iPhone 3G fan either. iPod touch and 5800 is a better value combination.
But i'm looking forward to the next generation iPhone. June this year apparently.

What's the problem with 86MB? :) We know that 86MB is not enough :) I need at least 32GB built-in :))
Iphone is better in that case :) (I am not an iphone fan, Hope I will be)

best solution is v50.0.005 with hacked firmware, so you can install unsigned apps to :) ovi maps 3.0.3 for navi and everything is pretty nice :) just google for it... please dont ask me anything more.
