Produced at the Gulf Islands Film and Television School during the Adult Media Intensive Program (May 10th - 16th, 2009) by Kimberley Krushel, Emily Harrison and Meg Savory.

With "thinking globally but acting locally", Gulf Islands activists share their story of coming together to address food insecurity. From community gardens, dinners to festivals and education with children, the movement is growing and building community.

  • Wonderful music soundtrack! Film value a bit dark on YouTube, would like to have seen plant shots titled for non-foodists among us, and heard more about what actual strategies the islanders have for increasing their local food production.
