  • Fun fact they didn't mention in the video. Shark fins don't really even give off a flavour, They cheat taste with chicken broth and herbs and spices. So yeah. It's kind of rediculous to fake a taste in a soup and to kill a whole shark for it. It's all about the mighty dollar though.

  • wonderful video

I also see below some talk about mass extinction, some thing to keep in mind is natural extinction is required for life to continue, its a fact of nature. But the issue with this is, it isn't natural, nature is being manipulated by man.

Also as far as sharks killing us, technically we aren't even suppose to be in water. Humans are land animals, nothing about us says water creature, sharks are just doing their thing, they see us, we are possible food nothing more.

  • good video, but somehow not as moving as the other ones.

i also find it strange that you focused on the sharks and not on industrial fishing with trawlerfleets. nevertheless, its still a great vid with an important message.

  • I liked the style here, but I think it may be a little more effective to build on the momentum of the spinning globe. Loved the transition of the 3D world to the hand drawn one.

  • @ProfessorMacintosh That's it I am never swimming again.

  • If you don't look too much as a seal when swimming you might postpone your death a bit. :)

  • @ProfessorMacintosh True, but we all die anyways so again why should you care.

  • @ProfessorMacintosh Some how I am opposed to leaving sharks a choice... mostly when swimming.

  • Not excactly against it, wouldn't mind if it never happened 'cause then I wouldn't exist so... Also it was more natural.

It's just that we leave the sharks without that much of a choice, they don't have a fair chance.

  • @ProfessorMacintosh Not turn. I am thankful that the Dinosaurs died off. Are you against that mass die off? Are mammals a horrible thing that should never been allowed to occur as mass extinction is horrible.

Chain yanking aside... Look sharks can renew their populations. The only thing I find offensive is the loss of all that good shark meat. I also wouldn't mind a farming system in which we help sharks keep up with demand.
