@sammypoo426 ....That's a bit of a strange comment...you can hate characters and get the gist of the story. I don't really like Hermione but I understand the series. She's just very annoying and then I remember that she's just like me

If you hate Snape or Lily or James or any character really, you're not getting the gist of the entire series. All of the characters are flawed, but it's the choices they made in the end which count the most.

At least with snape, he spent his whole life trying to defeat the Dark Lord with everybody against him and he died a terrible death, he did NOT deserve whatever the circumstances ,he tried to improve. The same can't really be said for James.

I don't know what either of them see in Lily but Snape deserved to be happy i guess just cause of what he did for Harry. Finaly Snape grew up in a disadvantaged background and tried to come out of it good. James was just spoilt.

Great video but I have to say this, James Potter wasn't a saint either, "to change and to improve are two different things" and James just changed his behaivour around Lily, he didn't actually improve it and that was when he was 17 and should have known better. In regards to the Prince's Tale, was it year 6 or 7 that Snape called Hermione a mudblood, you think he would have learnt his lesson. I don't personally feel as if either of them learnt their lesson in regards to being nice to people.
