  • he's My Hero!

  • Yep,

If we just converted a fraction of the auto infrastructure to bike, our society would be far far better. Put up those concrete barriers and trees for shade and we wont be such fat ass Americans in oversized SUV's.

I don't ride as much with my kids because I don't want them killed by some jack ass in a Regal with 20 inch rims.

    Bikes for a better life

  • Never underestimate the abject laziness of the American people. There will always be an excuse.

  • Bike commuting is real, I do it 2 or 3 times a week and I have a 26 mile round trip. Back when I had a 6 mile round trip I rode to work every day of the week, and took the car only once a month or so.

  • gosh, if i loss 13 lbs I'll dissolve.

Being sweaty at work is another of the compliances

  • cool video. I too live in DFW - in Richardson. My bike commute is 7.5 miles each way, and I'm lucky enough to have some good bike lanes and bike trails that get me about 60% of the way there.

It is hot in the summer. I have come to just accept that I will sweat. I give myself enough time to cool down and clean up a bit when i get to work. On days when I have meetings elsewhere, I drive. But typically I bike 2 or 3 times a week.

  • Huge fan of Ryan - try to catch him at the Sea Otter Classic. I also commute to work, and my junior high students love it. Ryan is such a positive, super-cool person. Being the master of trials doesn't hurt, either.
