As a fan of Russian ballet, I will confine my comment to non-Russian ballerinas. In my opinion, this very young Korean ballerina, artistically is as good a ballerina as you will find. Obviously, there are ballerinas that specialize in balance and turns, but that is not a sign of artistry; and artistry is what this Korean ballerina has.
This performance comes from the 2010 Korea International Ballet competition. This performance, plus every performance from the competition, can be bought by sending a YouTube message to me.

Seung Won Shin is a very young 22 year old ballerina in Korea and most likely is not one of the highest regarded ballerinas in Korea, but her talent is enormous. She will perform every major classical role to a very high level and her artistry separates her from so many of today's ballerinas. At age 22, she will improve in the years to come and will easily surpass any non-Russian ballerina that anyone feels might be better than her. After you see this Talisman (partner is Jung Bin Song), you will agree with my assessment and in the gala performances, she danced Coppelia and not Talisman.
In addition to her immense talent, her beautiful face will help greatly and as a Russian female friend told me, when they saw a few seconds of her in her Coppelia costume, they said that she has phenomenal legs. In her contemporary piece, she wore a very scant dress with no tights and her phenomenal legs were stunning. However, this video consumed the entire 15 minute limit , making any showing of her contemporary piece impossible.

She may not be the 'elite' ballerina that everyone expects & wants, but she IS the one that can convey the story! & I enjoy that more than the technique!

And the best danseur(male ballet dancer) in the word is Carlos Acosta,from Cuba but he dance for The Royal Ballet.
