On to the debate on the harmonized draft constitution, a section of members of parliament want executive powers to be vested in an elected president who will have the authority to appoint a prime minister and cabinet ministers. The parliamentary caucus on reforms is calling their arrangement a hybrid system that distributes power evenly between the president and the prime minister. NTVs Jane Kiyo has the details.

  • Hii watu ni bure kabisa, kubaffu tu... mavi ya kuku.. kwani are you more kenyans than we are? infact sisi ndo tunavumilia kwa wakenya.

  • We have had problems with a president that holds all the power. That has been the cause of the land disputes, tribalism, income disparity among Kenyan tribes, redistricting, etc. All these morans foresee themselves as president, hence, their support for the president to hold all the power.

  • Ngai I am sick to the bone when I see the old dinasour, Ole ntimama being one of those debating the constitution. Why are these people hangling over power. Hi, jane looking good.
