Southwest Greens of Florida Presents: Synthetic Turf Bocce Ball & Putting Green

http://www.swgreens.com A homeowner wanted to transform a highly visible portion of their backyard into a fun area for family entertainment. Why not create a bocce ball court and putting green. The area was right off the pool deck near the BBQ and whatever we installed there had to look great and serve the desired purpose.

This is a busy family with five kids and two dogs so low maintenance was another priority. Southwest Greens of Florida covered approximately 2,500 sq. ft. of area with synthetic grass lawn, putting green and bocce ball court.

The bocce court was framed in with 8"x8" pressure treated wood timbers anchored with rebar. An 18" wood retaining wall was installed on one side to level area and maximize usable space.

Approximately 40 tons of base material was brought in to form and shape the base before laying the turf materials.
