Carl Jantz at Naches Washington Moon Rocks August 2011

Carl had Ryan along that had never rock crawled before. The first run was over an easy step. The second climb involved rubbing the windshield on a rock at 1:54, and making a steep turn to the right through a slot. Carl almost drove through my camera position at 2:00 and I had to relocate at 2:14 to get the field of view wide enough to get more than one tire in frame. At 2:15 he asks me if he is dragging the back. I did not know what he meant until I saw the bent cooler as he drove away from me at the end.

I get used to Carl driving through a section without stopping and without using the starter. It just seems odd for someone to use their starter on a crawl. It was unusual for him to back up and close the windshield too,. He said he had seven windshields in the garage ready to install because they don't usually last very long.

@VMX540fan Looks like his jeep is well set up though. Looks like a really big jeep to me. Even when he has the 47s on they dont look that big on video.

The frame is stretched 24 inches at the door openings and the grille is stretched 3 inches in height to get the hood over the top of the tires. It makes the tires look small from a distance.
