Rosy Red minnow fight!!

These are two male Rosy Red minnows fighting over territory. Kinda funny to watch them go at it! Those are Gambusias in the foreground. No they are not guppies but they are very similar

@georgepetlover Male fathead minnow males get black heads and vertical stripes down their bodies and on their fins. They also get white breeding tubercles like goldfish and fleshy black growths on top of their heads. The breeding tubercles occur in three rows on the snout. Rosy red minnow males pretty much lack the color change but do get a clear fleshy growth on top of their heads and barely visible white tubercles. Females lack tubercles, fleshy growths, and vertical stripes.

@dasadler123 Hey I bought a minnow for my paroon shark to eat but instead whenever my shark went for a bight the minnow would get so aggressive like this and they would fight just like in this vid. I was so shocked and i searched minnows fighting and got here. And for @georgepetlover they are definitely fighting because paroons and minnows don't mate. Nice vid

Nice setup. At Petsmart there are red minnows that are 13 cents. If I put some in a tank with large goldfish....will the minnows get eaten? Not that I want them as feeders I just wanted to see if minnows would eat some grass shrimp I have. Then I was just going to put them in a community tank.
