Well the japanese GBA boxes are usually better and are horizontal unlike ours. However most of the DS boxes are now the same as ours.

Eh, I kinda liked them.

I think they just came out a bit later than they should have. FR/LG and the wireless adapters were released just a few months before the original DS came out, at a time when the GBA was beginning to be phased out.

Had the adapter been introduced a few years earlier in the GBA's lifecycle, more games would have been produced that actually used it, and it would have been much more successful.
