Your brain needs to be checked. Xinjiang was officially part of China since the Turk were defeated by our emporer over 1400 years ago. Uygurs were another turkic people lived there and got permission of our emperor to kick out the rest of the turks to where the morden turks live. They live there pay tax to our emporer and got protection from us ever since.
