I wanted to see them do a different part of the story...like the older spiderman that was kind of retired and then his daughter became spidergirl. Pffthahahaaa

Or just not a complete restart...yea

But as for you basing your belief system on the trilogy...I just have one question: were you an empty shell of a human before the first movie came out? Or maybe you based your beliefs on something totally different beforehand...hmm ^_^

Spiderman 1 and 2 were amazing. I remember going to the midnight release of both of them. They were practically life changing.

I'm still somewhat offended that they're remaking the movies. What was wrong with the original!? I mean, there are still comic book movies that are in dire need of being remade and they're wasting their time fixing something that wasn't broke.

I know the new Spiderman will be awesome, but that's not the point. I could remake Inception every year, but why?
