@keikoreo In the 60s, I have not seen more compassion for the masses and for people abroad than what RFK depicted. I miss RFK more than I miss JFK. But the latter's death made him more passionate and expressive. I always feel like giving him a warmest hug whenever I see him in clips.

@keikoreo his attempts to somehow get rid of castro are all controversial, to what extent is he guilty, it can't be certain, because many historians say, that CIA has again distorted facts to make it look like JFK and RFK wanted Fidel to be out of the way. There are also reports, they both used to say, make sure nothing happens to Fidel, because he shud nt die, that would be a horrible political and military backlash.

@keikoreo What militancy had he shown in 50s? i accept that his cuba aspect is not that very good, but as an attorney general, he is a total hero. do u know that he was the only one amongst the president's advisors who gave the moral argument of not attacking cuba, because US does not take preemptive measures against a small nation? but his argument did not win, the strategists won, once the decision was made, he supported the bay of pigs.

@sidrahsiddiqui I can't quite make the same claim...he was pretty militant in the '50s, and quite the warhawk against Cuba during the Kennedy Administration. That being said, I believe that the fact that he was able to become a more open-minded person with the same amount of passion in the '60s really shows how exceptional a person he was.

@keikoreo :S must be, most definitely. I said that because JFK and Sean are not know for their respective accents in German and English. To me, anything and everything that RFK says goes straight to my heart.

@sidrahsiddiqui oh no, it's not torture at all. Like JFK & Mr. 007, it is simply very endearing. =)
-
@keikoreo must be a torture to hear. Since I, on the other hand, do not understand French, to me, he is sounding charming.
-
@sidrahsiddiqui lol about equal to JFK's Boston-coated German, or Sean Connery's...English... =)
-
@keikoreo Thanks for the translation. How is his accent?
-
@sidrahsiddiqui "Bonjour, je suis très heureux d'être ici à Paris." "Hello, I am very happy to be here in Paris."
Bobby Kennedy speaking French...with a Boston accent...looking INCREDIBLY uncomfortable...GOLD!!!!!
A for effort though!
