(For me) This is an everlasting whistling. A permanent part of my childhood (musical) memory.
I even forgot when the first time I heard it, since I was too young to remember exactly. I can only remember that during my elementary school years, my dad often took me to a supermarket and the place ALWAYS HAD THIS SONG on their playlist (along with Phil Collins' Another Day in Paradise).
And after all this year, after my sense of musical appreciation developed, I must say that Ennio Morricone's Per Qualche Dollaro In Piu (For a Few Dollars More) is indeed a great song, and not just because it's being part of my nostalgia.
No one can beat Ennio Moricone.
