@blackricktheruler Absolutely dude. I'm a die hard Steelers fan & I couldn't agree with you more. In fact, no quarter back should get into the Hall of Fame until The Snake gets in.

I wish highlights were at regular speed so you can see how fast these guys really were, i'm sickof slow motion highlights

You know I never understood why Al never took to Stabler. Kenny never had an arm like Lamonica but he was a better all-round QB and his teammates would have stood in front of a truck for Kenny. Luckily Jim Plunket came off the bench to win us two more SP.
Also remember that QB's like Kenny called their own plays in the huddle un-like today's robo-QB's. By the way here is Bob Padecky?

@radio53 What was Bob Padecky THINKING, going to a sports legend's town trying to dig up dirt on shit that is NOBODY'S BUSINESS in the first place? And then he ARROGANTLY interview POWERFUL friends of his like a MAYOR.... 'AND'.... A POLICE CHIEF, IN FUCKING ALABAMA? Thank GOD Bob Padecky wasn't BLACK! Like I said, he should have just interviewed "STABLER" the first time, and got the hell on. And Al Davis started all that shit. Now here comes Paul Zimmerman blaming Stabler for that shit
-
@radio53 Maybe if Bob Padecky had done the right thing, and interviewed Ken Stabler DIRECTLY the first time, instead of trying to dig up dirt like a gossiping school girl, things would have been different. Instead he goes to Stabler's friends, including POWERFUL ones like the Mayor Arthur Holk, and POLICE CHIEF James Malpes. Trust me, he got what he deserved. And the beauty of it is, STABLER HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. Cnotinued ( YET AGAIN....LOL!! )------------>

@radio53Ken Stabler phoned Bob Padecky, and invited him to come back to Gulf Shores so Stabler could have a chance to tell his side of the story on the feud with Al Davis. Padecky owed it to Stabler, since he was willing to fly 3,000 miles just to crucify Stabler the first time. Stabler chewed him out for writing that fucked up 3 part story on him. Then the infamous drug bust went down.I beleive without a doubt, someone powerful set up Padcky. I call it karma. Continued------->

@radio53 I agree. I did some extensive research on the matter. The name of the juornalist is Bob Padecky who covered the Raiders for the Sacramento Bee. He went to Gulf Shores and Foley to dig up dirt on Ken Stabler. When Al Davis and Ken Stabler were feuding various issues in 1978, Bob Padecky was the first writer Al Davis spoke to on it. After that, Padecky wrote a really fucked up story about Stabler which pissed off many of Stabler's friends, family and fans. Continued---------->

@Oaklandgirlpitlover1 Zimmerman's beef with Kenny goes back to an alleged incedent where Kenny was suposed to have set-up a journalist with a drug-bust by the police down south. Kenny denied and involvement and was never arrested. I can't really see Kenny getting elected as there is so much prejudice against the Raiders especially the 1970's Raiders.

@radio53 I agree. Paul Zimmerman of Sports Illustrated, OPENLY said he would never vote Stabler into the HOF. WHAT A SCUMBAG. If I'm not mistaken Zimmerman is no longer on the committee of voters. Do you know of anyone else on the HOF committee that wants to keep Snake out? If so, the HOF has no credibility until Ken "SNAKE" Stabler is in the Hall Of Fame where he belongs.
-
@Oaklandgirlpitlover1 "HOF" means the Hall of Fame for pro-football and "Snake" was Kenny's nickname as a player! Snake should be in the HOF!
Raider legend without question.Should be in the HOF.
