@earthwormjah UFC championship level fighters get paid millions per fight. Considering after expenses and taxes, the UFC makes about $5 million per PPV, that's very reasonable. The most the UFC has ever grossed for a PPV was $50 million (before expenses and tax).

the ufc pays there fighters alot more then is reported, i mean i read an atrical in which gsp said that he is reportedly payed $500,000 for a fight but really is payed 5.5millon by the ufc and sponsers! now 5.5 millon seems alot of money compared to 250?:L

Let me see if I get this straight. ESPN paid a fighter 275$. Lorenzo Fertita pays his fighters ten times as much. 10 times 275 is 2750, which is probably a lot lower than Lorenzo Fertita's bar tab on any given night. I mean I'm a U.F.C fan, but they gotta start paying their fighters better.
