The bios settings for my i7 860 Overclock to 4ghz, hyperthreading is on and intel turbo boost is off giving it a true 4ghz overclock. Also it is LinX 20 pass stable but I couldn't be bothered doing a 1hr linx thing. My motherboard is a gigabyte p55a-ud5 with a swiftech gtz waterblock with two giant radiators for my cooling.
EIST Function, Enhanced Halt should be disable and Thermal and C3/C6 should be disable, because if you will run Prime95 for 12 hours I'm pretty damn sure you will have an error within 3 to 4 hours of the test. I also have a system here that is watercooling and @ 4.0GHz at 1.3V is not going to cut it , reason why I said that you will run into a error specially at the BLCK FREQ is at 200 and QPI Clock Ratio is X36 ,Note you have a 1156 I know this video is old you most likely learn from it already

Hi. I'm using a MSI P55A Fuzion motherboard with an i7 860, cooled by an Antec KUHLER 920 water block. Copied your settings, didn't need any tweaking, worked beautifully. Cheers!

I have a question.
When I press delete to access the BIOS it works sometimes but often is not responsive. I am using a USB wireless Keyboard connected to a USB 3.0 port.
Are you using a standard Keyboard connection?

Have you got an SSD on your System? If so then you should enable AHCI under Integrated Peripherals. Enabling AHCI boosts performance and adds features such as Hot plugging...
You may have to edit and activate the Drive in Registry before you do so, since you need to activate it for the OS to recognise its connection.

Hey man, nice tutorial! But there is a problem I have. When I press Delete to go into the setup screen, I get exactly the same screen as you except for one thing: in my setup screen, the MB Intelligent Tweaker is not present, which I need to overclock. Any suggestions what to do know? Thanks in advance.

@LmModz I use an P7P55D PRO motherboard. I just get 4.0 GHz stable with HT off. Can you send me a message with your voltages and temperatures? IMC voltage, vCore, DRAM, PLL. And you're with HT? (sorry my bad english)
