A medley of beginning animation students' first attempt at character animation pencil tests: expression change, drinking, walks, animated flour sack, color models etc. Shot on 8mm film. Students of Norm Drew's 'Introduction to Animation' ACA workshops, night school courses for the Vancouver School Board, (1992 - 2002) and the founding class of Classical Animation for the Vancouver Film School, (1992-1996), Vanarts Media Institute, (2001).
