It is entitled "Vertical Reach" because they measured how high he was able to reach. For example a seven footer has a higher reach than a five footer even though the five footer could have a higher vertical jump. Remember Spud Webb? I'm just trying to give clarity for the person who asked. 'No disrespect intended.
