  • You'll need the quick-sticking skills for whatever level you play at.....

  • Duke

  • This drill is the foundation for stickwork, period. If you can quick stick, you can do anything else (passing / catching / shooting on goal) easily. I'm going to do other videos which will help out more. A brick will work when you get good enough to hit it in the center....do this at least 3 times per week for a month and let me know how it goes.

  • is this also a good drill for defenders?

  • Yes. It is EXCELLENT for defenseman. They almost moved me to defense in college, with a long stick, since my ball skills were so superior. IF you have excellent stick skills as a defenseman, you can get around anyone and clear the ball better than anyone. Chaulk up on the stick a bit when you do the drill. Good luck. Let me know how it goes.

  • I never thought about quicksticking I might try that now I used to just catch and cradle for like 5 seconds but that's easy not only willthis build your stick skills it will help hand eye cordination great vud

  • What division 1 team was it? just curious.

  • wall in my backyard is the sameexcept way higher

  • ur amazing. wow for a second i thought the footage was being sped up!

idle918 - u dont HAVE to quick stick, but quick stick is very valuable in lacrosse. catch, and then one cradle is good too.

  • Would this be bad because all you're doing is quick sticking? I followed this somewhat except I used the wall above my garage which is a bit high and brick is a lot more annoying than concrete with the edges.
