  • Thank you for the review :)

  • @Dorothy124 You're welcome!

  • How about the battery? how long does it last?

  • @yuriPT The new colored model has a slightly more powerful battery than the white version I have, and it's rated for about 8000 pages. Take something off due to the new firmware that allows it to go to sleep rather than to be turned off completely (so it's faster to start up), so I'd say that you have at least 5000 pages worth of range with a single charge. It charges every time you connect it via USB, so In essence you won't really have to worry about it at all. :)

  • @jollino Thanks. I ended up buying one today. Yesterday I saw an AD saying the white version will be on sale today for 50€ at a store here in Portugal. I bought it and so far so good :)

  • @yuriPT Wow, nice catch. I paid mine €199 less than a year ago. :) Though of course there are many new models now... my only gripe with it is that if you set the "invert side buttons" function, it will be forgotten when you reboot the device even though it stays active in the menu, so you have to disable it and re-enable it. Bookeen knows about it, but it's been almost a year since the last firmware update.

  • Never mind, just saw your video part on it :)

  • Thanks for the extensive review! Great job.

Question: I'm looking to buy an eReader for my academic PDFs. I wanted to verify if the PDF is modified (fitted) to the screen, or do you have to scroll through, like left and right?

  • Chers mate, thx for review. Id like a wifi based browser and RSS feed in the device is that an option ? Judging from reviews Bookeens browsers are not very good.

  • that e-book is pretty nice but the back is ugly with that black cap

  • it gets stuck while you jack it up to the computer and it takes for ever to work again ...something wrong with the dam thing...i regret buing it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
