Thanks for the memories, I remember this well it's from the Temptation Show LP, here's a minor correction,
the comedian's name is George Kirby he was present on all three episodes of the Temptation's Show of which one episode was produced as an LP, also present was the singer Kay Stevens and the show always opened with the Temptations doing a medley of their hits, of which Paul Williams does a great job on " My Girl ".
I have a lot more Temptation info to offer you if you like.
