Khmer Orchestra at Wat Phnom

One sweaty afternoon, while exploring Wat Phnom, I was fortunate to be there while this small Khmer orchestra was practicing. The main 'bot' of Wat Phnom is quite small and intimate (considering its national significance), and dusty and worn. But the Cambodians milling about seemed to exhibit a very devout sense of reverence nonetheless.

On a hot afternoon, it was a much welcomed respite simply sitting on the cool stone floor with my back against the wall listening to this calming music.
