I fingerpick that melody on the my Goodtime banjo. I make my banjo sound like a minstrel banjo except I fingerpick it with rolls.

GREAT STUFF! Nice to hear it played as my Great Grandfather heard it in the 13th Tennessee Infantry, CSA! Is the minor variant part of the original tune or is it something you added? I really like it.

Thank you, TS, my g-g grandfather was in the 37th Tennessee Infantry, CSA, so we're cousin's sorta. The minor-key interlude is found in (James) Buckley's New Banjo Book, published in 1860.
