That was so cool! This was back in the day when they used to play 8 man after, Venus Wars!, Project A-ko and Dominion Tank Police really late at night. I miss old school cable when they had subliminal/ crazy messages, at random during commercial breaks. I found a copy of this at FYE for 8 dollars! A great classic!

Old school anime kicked ass and still does. It had a great look to it and the stories had heart.

I don't think anime is even made by humans anymore. There's this giant Japanese computer and you tell it to spit out shows aimed at little kids and emo girls-

and out comes Ouran High School.

New anime is just a watered down re-hash watched by kiddies who don't even pay for it.

Damn I love to piss that crowd off.

when i see eternal story i like it, when i see Rhea, i like it more, when i see the earth chapter i ended as a fan, but when i see the new era i end disappointed, because is going to start all over again in the earth are going to beging a new paranoid and the 6 girls who left are going to be the new solonoid, that was sad, but i must to say at least was congruent whit the story

@wartarot Yea.. all the new stuff is pretty damn crappy. It's all just moe-blob crap - I think you summed it up pretty well :P

It actually seems pretty sad, the crowd they aim anime at these days... New anime mostly seems to be acting out the fantasies of lonely otakus/nerds hiding in their rooms >< I can't even believe this new stuff sells lol.

Aw dude, you're bringin me back. I was about 14 during the best period of Saturday Anime and stuff like that, Blockbuster started carrying Guyver and Bubblegum Crisis and Orguss, all kinds of old school stuff. Ah, nostalgia.

You were five in '95!? Way to make me feel old, haha. Not everything Toonami/Adult Swim aired was terrible (I'm a fan of Outlaw Star by the way), but lets face it, most was. To be honest, you started watching anime at just the right time.
