@gang1337grace They are all demi-gods mistaken creations abominations of Yog-Soggoth his first creations his first attempts and huge mistakes as he knew the bulges of rocks were covered in water he created things to worship him that live in the water they evolved in that godly primordial soup into what we see now. Not exact facts from the mythos but i did just take it out of the top of my head.
