Whoops! Sorry, I didn't realize. I first bought it for screenshots and registered it before I ever started making videos. Good luck in the search. If you're going to do game videos, you might try posting on message forums about those particular games (e.g., Tomb Raider, etc.) to see what other people use.

hey me again. i got the full version of fraps like you. im ganna start doing video walkthoughs for legend, anniversary and underworld. ive already tried it out and ive ahd some problems and i was wondering if u help me out? first could you tell me what settings you use because my video are jerky then they arnt then they are again. Plus i thought that it saved it as one video but there are several for one level. can you make it so theres only one? what do you do? thanks stella.

You can download a trial version for free, but unless you pay to unlock it, all your screenshots and videos have the Fraps logo on them.

There are free programs out there, though. Just do a Google search for "free video capture software" or similar keywords. I don't know which are better/worse, but you could experiment until you find a good one. Happy hunting!

These are made with the PC version and Fraps to record, Windows Movie Maker to edit. I think the Legend and Underworld videos look a LOT better, even though I use the same settings for both. I'm still kind of learning as I go along.
